Check a whole project

Every dependency in your manifests and lockfiles, how far behind it is, and what upgrading breaks.

  1. Open Check a project and give it files: drop them, browse for them, paste a file's contents, or enter a GitHub repository to find them. Use sample files to try it.
  2. Press Generate report.
  3. Read the totals, then the table: current version, latest stable, latest overall, how big the upgrade is, its risk and its changes. Expand a row for its Must act items and a link to the full comparison.

Files are read for their dependency list and discarded. A report is private until you press Share link, which lets anyone with the link see it. Export it as Markdown or CSV, and Follow all to get alerts for every dependency in it.

To check a private repository, sign in, Connect GitHub and choose which repositories DepDelta may read. DepDelta asks before you share a report about one.

Signed out, your reports are remembered in this browser. Signed in, they are listed in Settings under Saved reports. The files each ecosystem reads are listed under Supported ecosystems.
